Biological Science Instructor

Compensation Range:

$51,934.60 - $89,641.28

Position Summary:

The Department of Biological Sciences at Hillsborough College Brandon Campus, is seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable individual to join out faculty as a tenure-track instructor.

The Department seeks a strong scholar-practitioner who will share faculty enthusiasm for excellence in undergraduate teaching, service to the campus and broader, college-wide communities,

and dedication to community partnerships within the region.

interests, love of teaching, and enthusiasm for campus and College committees and activities.

Required Qualifications:

Master's degree in biology or master's degree with 18 graduate semester hours in any combination of:

Anatomy & Physiology, Biochemistry, Biology, Botany, Ecology, Environmental Science, Marine Biology, Microbiology, Oceanography (with a biology emphasis), and Zoology.

Preferred Qualifications:

Demonstrated instructional experience at the post-secondary level. Ability to teach an evening course if necessary. Instructional knowledge of CANVAS or another learning management system (LMS);

and a commitment to students through exceptional teaching and learning.
