Job Description
Meyer Utility Structures, an Arcosa Subsidiary is hiring a Bolt House Attendant for our plant located in Steele, AL. As a Bolt House Attendant, you'll be responsible for accurate receiving, storage, issuing, and tracking of bolts, fasteners, and related materials. This role ensures that inventory is well organized, available when needed, and handled in accordance with company standards and safety procedures.

What you'll do:
- Receive, inspect, and properly store bolts, fasteners, tools, and materials.
- Issue stock items to departments and record all transactions accurately.
- Maintain stockroom organization, labeling, and cleanliness to ensure efficient operations.
- Monitor stock levels, identify shortages, and communicate replenishment needs to supervisors and inventory analyst.
- Conduct regular cycle counts and assist with annual physical inventory.
- Ensure compliance with company safety and housekeeping standards.
- Operate material handling equipment as required (training/certification provided if needed).
- Support production and material teams by ensuring timely access to required materials.
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor or management.
What you'll need:
- High school diploma or equivalent (required).
- Prior experience in stockroom, inventory, or warehouse operations.
- Basic computer skills and ability to use inventory tracking systems.
- Good communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to follow procedures with attention to detail.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform repetitive standing, walking, and bending.
