DASKK Hotels and Resorts is open and looking for the right candidate. This candidate must be ready to be part of something special. This 154 suite hotel has completed a multi-million dollar renovation to become a boutique hotel that remembers that all customers are part of our family and puts their needs as a priority. If this sounds like you and you are ready to set yourself apart from others, we are ready for you to join our team. As a growing hospitality company, we are looking for an experienced Housemen. This position needs to be passionate about the job and willing to work hard and understand the concept of “all hands-on deck” type of atmosphere. The ideal candidate must be a team player that is willing to go above and beyond.

Responsibilities:

Conduct beginning of-shift inspections of all public areas
Cleaning all public areas, including restrooms, telephones, windows, entranceways, hallways, conference rooms, and outdoor areas, as assigned
Using chemicals, cleaners, and cleaning equipment properly
Stocking and maintaining housekeeping cart and linen storage room
Documenting maintenance issues
Additional housekeeping duties as assigned
Follow Choice Hotel safe work habits and standards.

Qualifications:

Previous experience in cleaning, maintenance, or other related fields
Strong attention to detail and work ethic
Hotel/Hospitality Experience Preferred
High School diploma or equivalent preferred

Physical Requirement:Requires standing for extended periods, walking, pushing, lifting up to 25 pounds, bending and reaching, kneeling, or crouching. Compensation: $18.00 per hour
