We are seeking a Branch Support Specialist to provide technical and operational support across our network of branches. In this role, you will assist branches with procedural questions, provide technical support for various systems, and work with other departments to find solutions. The role is essential for ensuring all branch locations operate efficiently across the entire organization.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist branch associates with the following:
- Drawer balancing issues
- General account questions
- Correcting loan issues
- Check, receipt, and disbursement errors
- ACH Reversals
- Misapplied payments
- Operational procedure questions
- Handling system support questions not specifically listed above
- Work directly with other departments such as IT and Accounting
- Complete special projects as requested
Qualifications:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required:
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, SharePoint, and Outlook
- Ability to work in a team-fostered environment
- Exceptional phone skills and friendly demeanor
- Demonstrates good problem-solving skills, critical thinking, strategic thinking, and innovation
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask while prioritizing
- Demonstrates going above and beyond consistently and acts as a role model for the company's mission, vision, and values
- Ability to maintain the highest level of confidentiality
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills
- Time management skills
Education and/or Experience:
- High School Diploma or General Education Development (GED) Certificate
- Previous work experience in the financial industry is preferred but not required
Physical Demands:
- Must be able to constantly remain in a stationary position
- The person in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
- Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine, and computer printer
Work Environment:
- Office environment
Schedule Requirements:
- 40-hour work week
- Availability to work between the hours of 10am-7pm ET
