Role: The Broker Data Associate will play a critical role in helping the business manage and strengthen sell-side relationships through broker data and research by:
Helping manage relationships with sell-side brokers for broker data and research feedsProviding insights into the sell-side data offerings and identify opportunities to expand data partnership Acting as a point of coordination between sell-side brokers and internal teams on data-related initiatives and requests
Responsibilities:Help build and scale data relationships with our existing and new brokers
Act as a liaison to address day-to-day requests around broker data Onboard new broker datasets through the entire lifecycle, including collaborating with Compliance, Legal, etc. Leverage sell-side insights to understand data landscape and hedge fund trends
Requirements: Bachelor’s or master’s degree (with strong academic record)
3+ years of relevant experience Financial industry experience required; sell-side experience is a plus Experience working with data sourcing and management is a plusAbility to be manage, prioritize, and execute tasks in a fast-faced, multitasking environment Ability to uphold compliance framework and IP sensitivity framework Strong oral and written communication skills High level of attention to detailIntellectual curiosity and love for proactive learning Strong interpersonal skills Commitment to the highest ethical standards
