JOB SUMMARY: | The Commissioning Building Performance Engineer provides hands-on commissioning and performance testing support for mechanical systems in commercial and institutional facilities. This role focuses on commissioning, equipment installation verification, and functional performance testing—spending roughly half of their time in the field. This position is ideal for someone with a mechanical trades background who is looking to grow into commissioning and analytics work. The engineer will support commissioning projects, oversee mechanical installations, perform system analytics, and assist with measurement and verification. |

WORK ENVIRONMENT AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS: | This position requires a combination of working in an office environment and routine visits to project jobsites up to 50% of working hours. Project jobsites present typical construction and outdoor conditions that require the use of personal protective equipment for safety purposes. Lifting and exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 20 pounds more frequently is required. Must be comfortable climbing a ladder infrequently. |
