Job Title: Business Analyst

Position: Permanent

Location: Hybrid, Colombia, Bogota

Summary of the Role

  • The Business Analyst in the Navitaire Government Security product management group will work with existing and prospective Government Security customers to provide implementation and upgrade support. They will help to identify business process changes while performing data collection, helping to solve government security-related business problems and triage day-to-day customer issues. This position involves extensive collaboration with clients and other teams to deliver a solid and successful project, and solutions that support our customers' objectives.

Main Responsibilities

  • Represent the Navitaire Government Security Product Team during customer implementation and upgrade projects including data collection and configuration management

  • Provide onsite support during go-live, when required

  • Daily triage of customer-reported issues; address and respond to customer inquiries and issues in a production or test environment

  • Perform root cause analysis including testing of the Government Security product offerings, and validating carrier system settings during upgrades and implementations

  • Create demo data for sales pursuits and other initiatives

  • Provide on-going collaboration with Navitaire Development, Quality Assurance, and Customer Support teams

  • Perform business and system analysis for Government Security and Customer Services product initiatives

  • Document and clarify business requirements and produce detailed use cases for Government Security and Customer Services development efforts

  • Other related duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or above preferred

  • Experience with airline government security operations

  • Experience in Business/Systems Analysis or Requirements Gathering/Analysis role

  • Experience in root cause analysis

  • Proven ability to solve problems and issues effectively

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Excellent interpersonal and facilitation skills

  • Proven discipline to work independently in a dynamic, fast-paced environment

  • Flexible work schedule; willing to travel

  • Ability to work with customers on and off-site

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience:

  • working directly with customers.

  • supporting customer implementations.

  • problem solving.

  • training

  • Experience PAXLST, EDIFACT, iAPI, API, APP, and other airline Government Security

  • New Skies application knowledge

  • GoNow Agent application knowledge

  • Knowledge of airline/travel industry practices
