Job Description
OverviewThis Business Analyst role works closely with a team of analysts to provide support for their customers and may perform intermediate system configuration changes and maintenance to support the lifecycle of the application. The Business Analyst develops and implements effective/strategic business solutions through research and analysis of data and business processes.Key Responsibilities
- Large banking experience, preferably with experience in:
- Process improvements
- Regulatory initiatives
- Technology deployments
- Anti-Money Laundering (AML)
- Provides a high level of customer service, collaboration, and consensus-building skills while working with internal clients and stakeholders
- Diagnose, document, and resolve complex application issues from a functional, administrative, and operational perspective.
- Exhibits proactive problem-solving, business and system analysis skills
- Develops comprehensive end-to-end and User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
- Assesses client information, needs and develops reports accordingly
- Acts as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) on Financial applications
- Supports the development of data conversion routines and validation processes
- Assists the testing lead and process owners in planning and executing User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
- Supports integration requirements, including Foundational Data Model and trouble-shooting of data issues encountered by internal and external third-party applications
- Assist the training lead and process owners in developing user documentation, including Job Aides, Operational Guides, Online Content, etc.
- Performs business analysis and composes clear, comprehensive functional requirements for our Implementation Partner and IS
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in a financial and/or banking environment
- Financial System Implementation experience
- Performs business analysis and composes clear, comprehensive functional requirements for our Implementation Partner and IS
- High level of accountability and ability to work independently
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Flexibility and adaptability
- Collaboration and consensus-building skills
- At least two full lifecycle implementations of cloud-based applications: including delivery of project plans, estimates, management presentations, user communications, and IS coordination
- A background in financial and/or banking software experience
- Database, report-writing, and data analysis experience
- Technology aptitude and learning ability
- Finance domain knowledge and experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field
- A Master’s Degree in Business Administration or Information Technology is preferred
