Overview
We are looking for skilled, compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant - CNA/STNA who desire a career that matters in a community that values their expertise. The Certified Nursing Assistant - CNA/STNA promotes residents’ independence by supporting the resident in doing as much for self as possible while providing high quality care.
Job Types: Full-time 1st, Part-time 1st, 2nd,
Available Shifts: All shifts available
Pay: Starting from $18.50 increases with experience
Shift Differential: $3.00/hour 2nd shift and $1.50/hour 3rd shift
Responsibilities
- Providing high-quality care and safety to elders
- Presenting elders with choices and decision-making opportunities
- Engaging in interesting and meaningful activities with elders
- Assisting the elders in getting up and going to bed when they want
- Planning and cooking their favorite foods and eating a meal with them
- Laundry and light housekeeping tasks
Qualifications
- Education: High School diploma or equivalent
- Certification: Certified Nursing Assistant - CNA/STNA certification required in the State of Ohio. Applicants must pass the state test and be listed on the Nurse Aide Registry. However, see below for our offer of on-the-job assistance in getting this certification!
- Experience: Good documentation, communication and interpersonal skills; must be able to use proper lift technique and lift equipment to move, lift and transfer residents
