Thrive is seeking a hands-on Business Development Associate to join the high-growth, fast-paced, and driven team. The chosen candidate will focus on lead generation, prospecting, relationship building, pipeline management, and target achievement, while being enthusiastic about the physical therapy space and a team player.

 

Primary Job Responsibilities

  • Primarily generate leads through cold calling efforts
  • Support other lead generation efforts such as conference attendance, marketing campaigns etc.
  • Build deep pipeline of future acquisition opportunities
  • Outbound prospect qualification and company research
  • Manage and maintain prospect database ensuring accuracy and integrity
  • Work closely with business development team to progress leads through the deal cycle
  • Assist in marketing campaigns
  • Manage outbound mailing program and track response rates
  • Assist in additional administrative tasks as needed
  • Be a team player in a fast-paced and entrepreneurial environment

 

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • Proven experience in sales, lead generation, or business development roles.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to articulate complex ideas effectively.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with business owners.
  • Self-motivated and target-driven mindset with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Results-oriented approach with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Proficiency in using CRM systems and sales productivity tools.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills to handle multiple prospects and tasks simultaneously.
  • Adaptability and willingness to learn about new industries, products, or services.
  • Knowledge of market research techniques and industry analysis is a plus
  • Local to the Chicago, IL area/willing to relocate

 

Compensation

  • Base salary of $55,000 plus uncapped commission potential with OTE of around $75-85K
