Job Description

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Monitor and maintain IT systems, including servers, networks, and applications.
  • Perform routine system updates, patches, and backups.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues.
  • Assist in the setup, configuration, and deployment of new systems and applications.
  • Maintain documentation of system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps.
  • Provide technical support to end-users and respond to help desk tickets.
  • Ensure system security by implementing and maintaining security measures.
  • Assist in cybersecurity operations, including monitoring for security breaches and responding to incidents.
  • Implement and maintain security protocols and procedures to protect IT systems and data.

Qualifications:

  • A bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred.
  • Basic understanding of networking, operating systems, and hardware components.
  • Familiarity with system monitoring tools and troubleshooting techniques.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Basic knowledge of cybersecurity principles and practices.
  • Experience with security tools and technologies (e.g., firewalls, antivirus software) is a plus.
