Palo Alto Mind Body is an innovative and compassionate mental wellness practice serving the San Francisco Bay Area. Our team believes that mental and physical health are strongly intertwined, and our patients will realize their highest level of wellness when they achieve both. Patient care is our top priority, and we go above and beyond to make sure we provide the highest quality care and service. We are looking for high-energy, talented individuals to join our robost team. This position can be remote and/or in our large clinic in Palo Alto, California.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Individual psychotherapy treating persons of all backgrounds; potential for couples, family, or group
  • Provide evidence-based and collaborative care responsive to treatment needs
  • Opportunity to practice Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP) for those interested
  • Accurate and timely documentation of all clinical notes in the EHR platform
  • Clinical collaboration with a range of clinical providers (Psychiatrists, PAs, NPs, therapists, etc)

Requirements:

  • Masters or doctoral degree
  • Must have active California license appropriate for mental health therapy – Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPCC), or Psychologist (PhD or PsyD).
  • Clinical proficiency in one or more evidence-based therapy modalities. All therapeutic orientations are invited to apply.
  • Ability to work from the Palo Alto Mind Body clinic and see patients in person (preferred)
  • Exceptional ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and clinic staff
  • Must be 100% reliable in delivering a high level of service to all patients
  • A positive, can-do, caring, and empathic demeanor at all times
  • Must demonstrate professional and compassionate communications at all times
  • Knowledge of HIPAA policies and best practices
  • Comfortable in the use of our technology suite: Chromebooks, Google Workspaces, secure messaging, etc.
  • Must be 100% committed to patient and staff safety protocols
