This position requires on-site presence - NOT A REMOTE ROLE, LOCAL TO (Buckhead) Atlanta, GA.

The Project Manager plans, organizes, and coordinates information technology projects that are significant in scope and impact. The Project Manager collaborates with all departments to provide optimal innovative, creative systems and technology solutions to drive progress at Shepherd Center.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Work with IT leadership and project stakeholders to develop scope and objectives for assigned projects.
  • Develop and update project plans, including information such as technologies, systems, information specifications, schedules, funding, and staffing.
  • Work with IT leadership and project stakeholders to obtain necessary project resources. Coordinate the recruitment or selection of project personnel.
  • Develop and track budgets for information technology projects.
  • Establish and execute project communication plans.
  • Schedule and facilitate meetings related to information technology projects.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
  • Assign duties, Accountabilities, and timelines to project personnel.
  • Manage and coordinate the activities of project personnel.
  • Monitor the performance of project team members, providing and documenting performance feedback. Confer with project personnel to identify and resolve problems when necessary.
  • Monitor or track project milestones and deliverables.
  • Initiate, review, or approve modifications to project plans. Report and escalate to IT leadership when necessary.
  • Prepare project status reports for periodic delivery to IT leadership and project stakeholders by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing project information and trends.
  • Practices proper safety techniques in accordance with Center and departmental policies and procedures. Responsible for the reporting of employee/patient/visitor injuries or accidents, or other safety issues to the supervisor, and in the occurrence notification system.
  • Monitors and ensures compliance with all regulatory requirements, organizational standards, and policies and procedures related to the area of responsibility. Identifies potential risk areas within the area of responsibility and supports the problem resolution process.

REQUIRED MINIMUM EDUCATION

  • Bachelor's Degree, preferably in the field of Computer Science, Information Technology, or engineering for technical project managers and/or equivalent military experience.

REQUIRED MINIMUM CERTIFICATION

  • PMP (Project Management Professional)

REQUIRED MINIMUM EXPERIENCE

  • 7-10 years, proven work experience as an Information Technology project manager with a successful track record of medium-scale (> 100K

REQUIRED MINIMUM SKILLS

  • Solid technical background, preferred PPM experience with ServiceNow.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Solid organizational skills, including attention to detail and strong multi-tasking capabilities.
  • Strong working knowledge of the Microsoft Technology stack.
  • At least 5 years managing projects for teams of 10 or more people, preferably in healthcare.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

  • Sedentary desk work for long periods of time
  • Walking, climbing stairs, and being comfortable in and around an active construction area.
