Investor Relations:

The Starwood Capital Investor Relations and Global Fundraising team is responsible for managing and enhancing investor relationships around the world on behalf of the firm's private investment funds, co-investments, and non-listed REITs. The individual will be exposed to multiple aspects of Starwood Capital Group's investor relations process, with a focus on personalized reporting for current investors and the preparation of custom responses for investors performing due diligence. Through this experience, the individual will work with multiple teams at Starwood Capital and develop expertise related to the firm's business lines, investment strategies, funds and investments.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Draft customized responses to investor inquiries and due diligence requests
  • Prepare bespoke quarterly reports for select investors
  • Maintain and update presentations, track records, the corporate website, and brochures
  • Research institutional fundraising prospects to support the capital raising team
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Asset Management, Acquisitions, Legal, and others
  • Integrate AI tools to enhance due diligence and reporting processes
  • Support ad-hoc projects and analytical initiatives as needed

Requirements Include:

  • Bachelor's degree with a strong academic record, preferably with coursework in finance
  • 0-3 years of relevant experience in investor relations, real estate, investment banking, accounting, finance, or audit
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities
  • Highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
  • Professional demeanor, discretion, and a strong sense of integrity
  • Ability to build relationships across various teams
  • Authorization to work in the United States
