Job Description
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
In this role you will be:
- Providing basic nursing care under the direction of a Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse
- Performing a variety of assigned tasks
- Identifying each patient's age-specific needs and providing appropriate care as assigned
- Able to provide direct patient care to the med-surg patient
- Communicating with RN/GN staff to report changes in patients' conditions
QUALIFICATIONS
Required:
- EDUCATION: A high school graduate or equivalent
- EXPERIENCE: Minimum of 1 year med-surg and/or geriatric experience preferred
- LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION:
- BLS required or obtained within 1 month of hire
- Successful completion of approved Certified Nursing Assistant Program preferred
