Position Summary

This is a research opportunity in the laboratory of Charles Conway, MD, Professor of Psychiatry who specializes in treatment-resistant depression in adults. We are looking for an organized and detail-oriented coordinator to help with several studies and additionally running the neuroimaging scanner. Dr. Conway heads up the Washington University Treatment-Resistant Depression Clinic, as well as the Washington University Center for the Advancement of Research in Resistant Mood and Affective Disorders (CARRMA). His research and clinical focus has been on refractory mood disorders, most critically, treatment-resistant depression (TRD). In this capacity, he currently heads up numerous clinical trials that attempt to better understand the biological and neurophysiological basis of TRD, as well as to examine the impact of various novel treatments, ultimately aiming to improve outcomes for individuals suffering with this virulent form of major depressive disorder.

Job Description

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Recruits, interviews, screens and schedules subjects for study per protocol.
  • Documents case history, charts and test scores using PC computer systems.
  • Performs testing in accordance with study guidelines.
  • Plans and implements study phases, day-to-day in-house and field operations and trouble shoots case processes.
  • Administers/scores tests, prepares/edits progress reports and attends meetings, providing case statistical analysis.
  • May participate in training of Professional Rater I.
  • Monitors and orders supplies necessary for study.
  • Delivers study samples to lab for testing.
  • Prepares information packets for patients enrolled in study.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Salary Range

$19.21 - $28.85 / Hourly

The salary range reflects base salaries paid for positions in a given job grade across the University. Individual rates within the range will be determined by factors including one's qualifications and performance, equity with others in the department, market rates for positions within the same grade and department budget.
