Cashier

As a Cashier, you will be responsible for processing customer transactions accurately and efficiently while providing a warm and welcoming shopping experience. Your role will include handling cash, operating the cash register, and assisting customers with any questions they may have. Responsibilities

• Process customer transactions quickly and accurately using the cash register.
• Handle cash, credit, and debit transactions while ensuring the security of funds.
• Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers and assisting with their inquiries.
• Maintain a clean and organized checkout area, including restocking supplies as needed.
• Assist in managing customer lines to ensure a smooth flow during peak hours.
• Perform basic clerical duties as required, such as issuing refunds or processing returns.
• Collaborate with team members to create a positive shopping experience for all customers.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous experience as a cashier or in a customer service role is a plus.
• Strong mathematical skills to accurately handle transactions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage time effectively.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
