Dental Assistant

Do you have a smile that lights up the room? Join our fun, fast-paced dental team as a Dental Assistant! You’ll work side-by-side with doctors, help create confident smiles, and keep our patients comfortable and cared for. Essential Functions:

  • Performs sterilization procedures following protocols set in accordance with established guidelines
  • Prepares dental equipment and instrumentation - tray set-ups for dental procedures
  • Obtains diagnostic records ordered by a dentist including X-Rays, intra-oral scans/photos, and alginate impressions
  • Provides direct patient care under the direct supervision of a dentist
  • Creates entries in patients' medical records as directed by the treating dentist
  • Provides patient education including care instructions
  • Performs basic lab duties including the fabrication of Essix retainers
  • Prepares and documents lab cases ensuring timely delivery

 

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 6 months of experience in a dental or healthcare setting.
  • Knowledge and understanding of dental terminology, techniques, and procedures.
  • Relevant dental assistant licensure (if required by state law) or experience as a foreign trained dentist a plus.
  • Compliance with continuing education requirements to maintain state license/certification (if applicable). 
  • Proficiency in dental software and technology.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Job Type: Full-time 

Pay Rate: Starting at $20 an hour based on skills and experience.

Job Location: In-person; local travel between offices may be required.

Work Hours: Monday-Thursday (8:30 am - 6 pm or 9:30 am - 7 pm), Friday (8:30 am - 5 pm), Saturday (8:30 am - 4 pm)
