Engineering Manager

Sunset Key Cottages is seeking an Engineering Manager with experience delivering exceptional service. The Engineering Manager will be responsible for supervising the day-to-day repairs and maintenance of the resort.

 

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the hiring, training, supervision, scheduling, counseling, and evaluation of performance

• Ensure proper execution of work order/request system and that items are followed up on when necessary.

• Implement preventive maintenance schedules, policies, and rules to ensure an efficient department.

• Must have experience in mechanical, electrical, HVAC, and plumbing systems

 

Qualifications:

• Minimum 3 years of supervisory experience.

• Engineering experience in a hotel/resort

• Requires good communication skills, both verbal and written.

• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.

• Must possess basic computer skills.

• Ability to read, write, and verbally communicate effectively and professionally with other departments, guests, and vendors.

• Ability to work effectively under time constraints and deadlines.
