Licensed Nursing Assistant - Saint Albans, VT (#M1002)

Position Overview:

We are seeking a compassionate Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA) to provide essential patient care in a Nursing and Rehab Facility in Saint Albans, VT. This per-diem role involves supporting patients’ daily needs, promoting recovery, and collaborating with healthcare teams to ensure a safe and therapeutic environment.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Completion of a state-approved nursing assistant training program.
  • Licensure/Certifications:
    • Active Vermont Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA) certification.
    • Current BLS certification.
  • Experience: 1+ year of LNA experience (rehab, long-term care, or acute care preferred).
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in ADLs (activities of daily living), vital sign monitoring, and infection control protocols.
  • Soft Skills: Compassion, strong communication, adaptability, and teamwork.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist patients with bathing, dressing, mobility, and other daily living activities.
  • Monitor and report changes in patients’ conditions to nursing staff.
  • Support rehabilitation therapies by preparing equipment and ensuring patient safety.
  • Document care provided and maintain accurate patient records.
  • Collaborate with nurses, therapists, and physicians to deliver holistic care.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe patient environment.
