Job Description
Position Summary
The person in this position is responsible to band material and prepare for staging, could be use of hand and electric tools.
Shift:
Monday - Friday 10AM - 6:30PM
Pay - $18/hour with full benefits at 60 days and opportunity for production bonuses.
Essential Responsibilities
- Bands material, safely using equipment provided, to secure materials with metal bands for shipment.
- Labeling banded carts ensuring accuracy of units, destination, handler, etc.
- Cleans up work area, sweeping, rebinding loose bundles, etc. to make sure everything is ready for second shift.
- Other duties as may be assigned from time to time.
Basic Qualifications (Required)
- Must be able to productively perform all essential functions, including physical requirements
- Must be able to physically handle awkward product lengths and lift weights up to 50 lbs without assistance. Basic math skills, interpersonal/team skills and reasoning skills are also required
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience in distribution or manufacturing environment.

- 100%: Stand, handle or feel, squeeze or grasp
- 80%: Reaching with hands and arms, depth perception
- 50%: Walk, repetitive motion, operate moving equipment
- 10: Working bent at waist, stoop, kneel, crouch, bending or twisting
- Lift, push or pull up to 50 lbs. without assistance.
- Lift, push or pull 75-100 lbs. with assistance.
