Onsite Dental is a dynamic, patient-focused dental practice committed to providing exceptional care and a welcoming environment. We value teamwork, professionalism, and a positive attitude.
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Dental Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring our patients receive the best care possible. You will assist the dentist during procedures, maintain a clean and organized workspace, and help create a comfortable experience for our patients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare patients for dental procedures by explaining treatments and ensuring their comfort.
- Assist the dentist during examinations and treatments, including handling instruments and materials.
- Sterilize and maintain dental instruments and equipment in accordance with infection control protocols.
- Take dental X-rays as needed.
- Maintain accurate patient records and charting.
- Provide patient education on oral hygiene and post-procedure care.
- Ensure the operatory and office are clean, organized, and stocked with supplies.
- Collaborate with the team to ensure smooth daily operations.
Qualifications:
- Active Dental Assistant licensure in South Carolina
- CPR certification
- Knowledge of dental procedures, instruments, and terminology.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- A caring and compassionate attitude toward patients.
