Job Description
Job Title: Scrub Tech – Interventional Radiology
Location: Gilbert, AZ
Hours & Schedule: Full Time or Part Time (PRN – Thursdays and Fridays to start)
Work Environment: Hospital-based Interventional Radiology Suite
Salary / Hourly Rate: $110,000 - $130,000 / year

Job Duties & Responsibilities:
- Greet patients in a professional and friendly manner
- Operate conventional and fluoroscopic radiology equipment as directed
- Assist physicians during procedures by handling and preparing instruments and supplies
- Maintain adequate stock of supplies and open necessary items based on procedural need
- Demonstrate critical thinking to deliver safe, effective patient care
- Educate patients about procedures to ensure understanding and comfort
- Create and update electronic medical records (EMR) accurately
- Ensure radiographic images are stored correctly in PACS
- Perform and document quality control checks in accordance with departmental policies
- Clean and maintain radiographic equipment, making basic repairs as needed
- Adhere to radiation safety standards to protect patients and staff
- Support smooth workflow and maintain procedural readiness
Prerequisites / License & Certification Requirements:
- Interventional Radiology Technologist-Surgical Technology Certification (Required)
- Arizona State License
- BLS Certification (AHA)
