Lead the kitchen. Keep campers and staff fueled.
Join Oakland Feather River Camp as our Camp Food Service Lead (aka the Food Service Manager). You’ll oversee all kitchen operations, plan menus, supervise staff, and make sure every meal runs smoothly - all while having the option to live onsite with housing and meals provided.
What You’ll Do:
Lead and mentor kitchen staff
Plan and deliver three meals/day for campers & staff
Manage inventory, ordering, and food prep
Ensure food safety, sanitation, & compliance
Keep the kitchen organized, stocked, and efficient
Support other departments when needed
Who You Are:
Experienced in kitchen management or food service leadership
Knowledgeable in food safety & sanitation (or willing to get certified)
Calm under pressure with strong communication skills
Comfortable lifting up to 50 lbs & working long, active days
Flexible and ready for hands-on seasonal work
21+ years old
