Description
The Campground Attendant is responsible for the operation of the campground and assisting guests by staffing the office and store, taking reservations, providing information, and directions, and educating guess on rules and regulations, cleanliness and upkeep, and reporting problems to management in accordance with company policies and procedures.
This position is seasonal. Seasonal employees perform their work at certain seasons and periods of the year. Their work, by its nature, is not continuous nor is it carried on throughout the year. A seasonal employee who is employed at the conclusion of the season will be terminated.
Requirements
- Able to stand and/or walk for eight (8) hours
- Requires early arrivals and/or late night departures.
- Able to walk quickly to/from job locations up to 1 (one) mile distance.
- Able to handle cash, operate a P/C and reservation system, credit card machine as well as count back change in accordance to Lagoon's Cash handling and cash control policies and procedures.
- Campground Attendants must also remain current on different pricing structures, coupons, and/or promotions that are offered.
- Able to handle multiple tasks such as operating a computer quickly and efficiently at the same time as interacting with guests in person or on the phone.
- Able to perform work duties outside in varying weather conditions prevalent at the time.
- Shift times will vary depending on the need of the department, however most shifts will be in the morning/afternoon.
