36 hr Rotating Cardiac

Must be able to scrub and circulate cardiac OR cases.

2 years OR cardiac surgery experience required.

Call team assignments are determined based on skill set and departmental needs.

Brigham and Women's Hospital Operating room has 47 OR rooms with 1 Hybrid OR along with 2 AMIGO rooms. We are an academic medical center with programs supporting comprehensive stroke, burn trauma, cardiac, lung and renal transplant, Robotic surgery, and other complex surgical services to support our patient population.

Qualifications

To qualify you must have:

  • Education: Graduate of an approved school of nursing with current registration in Massachusetts.
  • For newly licensed nurses a Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing is required.
  • Experience: 2 years OR cardiac surgery experience required.
  • Must be able to scrub and circulate cardiac OR cases (required).

Other:

  • Membership in professional organizations is recommended and certification in a specialty area is encouraged.
  • Able to work weekend rotation per the MNA contract
