About the Role

Seeking an experienced Cardiac Telemetry Med-Surg RN to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in a busy acute care environment. This role involves monitoring telemetry patients, managing complex medical conditions, and working within a collaborative multidisciplinary team.

Available Shifts

• Days – Rotating Weekends• Nights – Rotating Weekends (+$4.25/hr differential)

Important Notes

• Must live within a commutable distance (under 60 minutes)• Day shift ratio: 5:1 or 6:1• Night shift ratio: 6:1• In-person interview required (shadowing, facility tour, admin interview)

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor cardiac telemetry patients and respond to changes in condition• Provide care to post-surgical and acute Med-Surg patients• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions• Educate patients and families on care plans, medications, and follow-up• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams• Maintain accurate EMR documentation

Qualifications

• 1+ year of recent acute care RN experience (within last 4 years)• Active Florida RN license or Compact RN license• BLS required within 30 days of hire• ACLS required within 90 days of hire• Compact-license RNs with 3+ years experience must apply for a Florida RN license
