Job Description
Job Title: Cart Rental Maintenance/Washing AttendantDepartment: Golf Cart Rental #55 Reports To: Bell Captain/ Bell Services ManagerFLSA Status: Non-Exempt Summary:Provide excellent service to Members and Guests while cleaning, detailing, and maintaining the appearance of golf carts and bicycles to ensure a clean, professional, and ready-to-use fleet. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: In addition to the following duties and responsibilities, other duties may be assigned:Wash and detail golf carts inside and out using hoses, brushes, and approved cleaning agentsInspect carts for damage or mechanical issues and report any problemsRecharge electric carts or refuel gas carts as neededOrganize and park carts in designated areas after cleaningKeep the wash area clean, safe, and stocked with suppliesFollow safety procedures when using cleaning chemicals and equipmentAssist with moving or staging carts for events or peak play periodThe following will need to be done for the road carts and bikesCheck headlights and brakesCheck and water batteriesSpray locks with WD-40Wash carts and bicyclesMake sure carts and bicycles are lined up dailyMake sure carts are charged dailyAfter carts and bicycles are rented, show Members/Guests how to properly operateQualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactory. Language:Must be fluent in the English language in order to communicate with members, guests and co-workers and fully understand job assignments. Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:Needs to have current driver's license and clean driving history. Sample work conditions might be:Juggles many tasks at once Noise level in the work environment is usually moderateOffice is regulated by air conditioning and garage is on the ground level with open air exposure. Driving around the property being exposed to all natural elements. Attendance, Appearance and Conduct: Regular attendance in conformance with the standards, which may be established by Ocean Reef Club from time to time, is essential to the successful performance of this position. Associates with irregular attendance will be subject to disciplinary action, up to and including termination of employment. Due to the cyclical nature of the hospitality industry and report deadlines, associate may be required to work varying schedules to meet the business needs of the Club and report deadlines. Proper grooming is required by all associates and is described in detail in the Associates Handbook. Associates should review this policy and make sure that at all times they present themselves for shifts looking clean, neat and professional. As a condition of employment, all associates agree to fully comply with Ocean Reef Club rules and regulations for the safe and efficient operation of Club facilities. Associates who violate Club rules and regulations will be subject to disciplinary action, up to and including termination of employment.
