Job Description
Description of the role:
The Cashier at Franklin Auto will be responsible for handling customer payments efficiently and accurately.
Responsibilities:
- Receive payments from customers and issue receipts
- Count money in cash drawers at the beginning and end of shifts to ensure amounts are correct
- Handle paperwork being transferred to our accounting department.
- Responsible for morning report of credit card transactions.
- Scanning documents.
- Receiving and distributing mail.
- Assisting the rental department
- Assisting with photographing inventory
Requirements:
- Previous cashier or customer service experience preferred
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Valid driver's license
Benefits:
Compensation: $12.00 per hour paid weekly, reevaluated after 90 days
Minimum 40 hours a week
Complimentary lunch every Saturday
