Position Summary

Responsible for washing the department's glassware; autoclaving dryware, liquids, biohazard waste; and taking care of departmental mail.

Job Description

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

• Collects glassware from labs.
• Loads into washer; washes, dries and wraps with saran wrap.
• Washes and dries by hand all plasticware.
• Separates to autoclave dryware.
• Returns to labs and place on shelves.
• Washes, dries, plugs and autoclaves pipettes from each lab.
• Maintains stock for labs.
• Autoclaves liquids and biohazard waste from labs.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Salary Range

$16.27 - $20.83 / Hourly

The salary range reflects base salaries paid for positions in a given job grade across the University.
