Job Title: Industry Marketing Manager- Automotive

Location: Troy, Michigan

Overview:

Wind River is seeking a hands-on Industry Marketing Manager to drive awareness and demand for our solutions across the automotive industry, with a focus on growing our presence in the software-defined vehicle and intelligent systems markets. This is a great opportunity for someone with a solid background in automotive marketing and demand generation who wants to make a real impact in a fast-moving, strategic vertical.

In this role, you'll work closely with the Sales, Partner, and Product teams to execute marketing programs tailored to the automotive sector. You'll help translate our technology value into industry-specific messaging and develop campaigns that generate pipeline and accelerate deal velocity.

What You'll Do:

  • Support the execution of the go-to-market strategy for the automotive vertical
  • Drive demand generation programs and campaigns targeting key automotive accounts and segments
  • Collaborate with Sales to understand account priorities and ensure strong alignment on marketing programs
  • Develop tailored messaging and content in partnership with Product Marketing and field teams
  • Coordinate with industry partners to support co-marketing efforts and joint events
  • Track and report on campaign performance, continuously optimizing to improve results
  • Represent the voice of the automotive customer in marketing planning

What You'll Bring:

  • 7+ years of experience in automotive industry marketing, preferably in a B2B or technology-driven environment
  • Proven ability to plan and execute demand generation campaigns and events
  • Understanding of buyer personas in the automotive value chain- OEMs, Tier 1s, and technology partners
  • Excellent project management and cross-functional collaboration skills
  • Strong communication skills, with an eye for crafting compelling, industry-specific messaging
  • Experience working with Sales and Partner teams in a fast-paced, matrixed organization

Nice to Have:

  • Familiarity with embedded systems, DevOps, or cloud technologies in the automotive space
  • Experience with Salesforce and performance analytics tools
