Job Description

Position Overview

We are seeking a passionate, dedicated, and growth-oriented Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our team in the Bronx as a key leader within our Children and Family Treatment and Support Services (CFTSS) program. This is a strictly in-person position designed for a compassionate mental health professional who is eager to make a meaningful impact through both clinical and supervisory roles.

The ideal candidate will bring a strong foundation in clinical practice, a deep commitment to serving underserved communities, and the leadership skills necessary to support, guide, and oversee a team of social workers. This is a unique opportunity for an LCSW seeking professional growth in a mission-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide direct clinical services to a small caseload of children, youth, and families as part of the CFTSS program.
  • Supervise and mentor a team of social workers, ensuring adherence to program guidelines, professional ethics, and clinical excellence.
  • Monitor and support staff in maintaining accurate, timely, and compliant documentation, including progress notes, treatment plans, and assessments.
  • Ensure program compliance with CFTSS standards, New York State regulations, and agency policies.
  • Facilitate regular team meetings and clinical case conferences to promote collaborative care and professional development.
  • Serve as a liaison with internal leadership and external stakeholders, as needed.
  • Foster a supportive, inclusive, and accountable team culture rooted in humility, respect, and high-quality care.

Qualifications

  • Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in good standing in New York State.
  • Minimum of 2 years post-licensure clinical experience working with children and families, preferably in community-based settings.
  • Prior supervisory or leadership experience strongly preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of CFTSS services, Medicaid documentation requirements, and trauma-informed care.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead with humility, empathy, and sound clinical judgment.
  • Excellent communication, organization, and management skills.
  • Passion for equity, social justice, and working with diverse populations.
