Company OverviewFor more than 30 years, our client has been dedicated to providing exceptional customer service and the best inventory selection in the flooring industry. With their hundreds of flooring options and large variety of supplies and equipment in stock at all times, they have the hardwood floor materials you need to complete any size project, from 100 to 1 million square feet.Position OverviewWe are seeking a reliable and experienced CDL-A Driver to join our team in Danbury, CT, supporting the distribution of hardwood flooring materials across NY, NJ, CT, and PA. This role involves transporting wood pallets and requires a strong focus on safety, efficiency, and customer service. Piggyback forklift experience is preferred. The ideal candidate will have a valid CDL-A license, relevant driving experience, and strong organizational skills, with a commitment to safety and efficiency.Location: Danbury, CTReports to: Store ManagerSchedule: Onsite
- Monday-Friday, 6 AM – 4 PM (Subject to change and business needs.)
- Safely transport pallets of wood to various locations
- Load and unload materials using a piggyback forklift (preferred experience)
- Ensure timely deliveries while maintaining accurate logs and documentation
- Follow all DOT regulations and company safety policies
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers
- Valid CDL-A license with a clean driving record
- Previous CDL-A driving experience
- Piggyback forklift experience preferred
- Ability to work early morning or overnight shifts as needed
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
- Bilingual (Spanish and English) – Preferred
