Responsibilities
- Transport goods safely and efficiently to designated locations
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections on vehicles
- Maintain accurate logs of driving hours and distances traveled
- Adhere to all federal and state driving regulations
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and management about changes in routing or loads
- Assist in loading and unloading freight when necessary
- Ensure proper securement of cargo to prevent damage during transit
- Report any vehicle maintenance issues promptly before or during trips
- Valid CDL A license with a clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years of over-the-road driving experience
- Familiarity with GPS and navigation systems
- Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and safety procedures
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to lift heavy freight and perform physical tasks as required
