Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Sales Representative to join our growing sales team. This role focuses on new business development and expanding our presence in the Northern Colorado market through proactive prospecting and relationship building.

As a Sales Representative, you will be responsible for generating new business opportunities through outside sales activities, including networking and strategic partnership development. You will collaborate with our Closing and Sales teams to deliver exceptional client experiences while building a pipeline of new prospects.

This position offers significant growth potential and leadership opportunities to establish yourself as a key business developer within our organization.

Qualifications

Required Experience:

  • 2+ years of outside sales experience with demonstrated success in new business development
  • Proven track record of prospecting and converting new clients
  • Experience managing extended sales cycles with demonstrated tenacity and professional persistence

Core Competencies:

  • Strong work ethic with demonstrated aptitude for business development and market expansion
  • Experience owning and managing monthly and quarterly sales metrics
  • Proven ability to generate leads through cold calling, networking, and referral development
  • Passion for growth and new challenges
  • Hunter mentality with drive to seek new revenue opportunities
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills across various stakeholders
  • Strong negotiation abilities and consultative selling approach
  • Self-starter who thrives in a field-based, independent work environment
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for client visits
  • Title License required within 90 days of employment

Responsibilities

New Business Development (Primary Focus):

  • Prospect and develop new client relationships in Northern Colorado territory
  • Generate qualified leads through cold calling, networking events, and referral programs
  • Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline with consistent new prospect activity
  • Develop territory plans and market penetration strategies

Sales Management:

  • Exceed monthly and quarterly new business acquisition targets
  • Provide consultative expertise on industry best practices and solutions
  • Analyze market trends and identify emerging opportunities for business expansion
  • Maintain accurate CRM records 

Professional Development:

  • Maintain current knowledge of industry trends and competitive landscape
  • Participate in ongoing training, workshops, and professional development
  • Network actively within the real estate and lending communities

Compensation

Base + Commission Structure:

  • Base salary range: $50,000 - $60,000/year
  • Commission potential with accelerators for exceeding targets
  • Commission incentives begin upon completion of title insurance license requirements

Additional Information:

  • Position is exempt from overtime per Colorado State Law
  • Final compensation determined by experience, expertise, and performance history
