Job Description

Griffin Health is seeking an Office Supervisor to lead and support our Outpatient Psych Physician Services team. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership skills, operational insight, and a passion for patient-centered care. Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide daily management, support, and training for staff to ensure seamless practice operations.

  • Step in to perform duties of staff as needed to maintain operational flow.

  • Schedule and coordinate staff activities to maximize provider productivity, clinical quality, and patient access.

  • Manage payroll submission and staffing budgets, including oversight of overtime and temporary staffing.

  • Ensure regulatory, accreditation, and system process compliance.

  • Lead regular team communications through weekly standups and monthly staff meetings; document and report outcomes to the Executive Director.

  • Act as the main liaison between the practice and hospital-based services.

  • Monitor financial performance; collaborate with physicians on strategic action plans to meet budget goals.

  • Review and manage accounts receivable and point-of-service collections to meet established benchmarks.

  • Support staff development through training, performance evaluations, and licensure compliance.

  • Conduct annual performance reviews and manage staff competencies with support from HR and department Director.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum two years in a leadership role (e.g., Practice Manager, Office Manager).

  • Proficient in medical office operations, billing, finance, and electronic health records.

  • Strong data analysis and decision-making skills to drive operational improvements.

  • Bachelor's degree in Business or Healthcare Administration preferred; High school diploma required.

  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.

  • Ability to travel between local office sites as needed.
