Job Description:
SCOPE: The BMT/IECT RN Coordinator is a specialized registered nurse who provides comprehensive coordination of care for patients undergoing hematopoietic stem cell transplantation and immune effector cell therapies (e.g., CAR-T). This role ensures continuity of care across the transplant/therapy continuum, including pre-evaluation, treatment planning, inpatient and outpatient care coordination, and long-term follow-up. The coordinator serves as a liaison between patients, families, and the multidisciplinary team to optimize clinical outcomes and patient experience.

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Required: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required; Master's Degree preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years' experience as RN in stem cell transplant, hematology-oncology nursing, OR prior transplant coordination (i.e., solid tumor experience).
- Experience with cellular therapy or clinical coordination preferred.
- Current RN license in LA, BLS certification required. OCN or BMTCN certification preferred.
ADDITIONAL SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
- Self-directed with strong problem-solving skills and comfortable working independently.
- Adaptable in a fast-paced environment with shifting regulatory and clinical priorities.
- Participates in professional activities and acts as a leader in promoting best practices, department-specific initiatives, and process improvement.
- Act as a resource to the members of the multidisciplinary team on transplant care, protocols, and procedures.
- Coordinate and participate in telemedicine conferences with transplant physician, referring physician, patient, etc.
- Ability to develop therapeutic relationships with patients and their support systems.
