Job Description

In this role, you will be responsible for planning, executing, and documenting compliance testing activities to ensure our products meet global regulatory and industry standards, including FCC, CE, UL, EMC, and RoHS. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams—systems, mechanical, product, and quality—to identify potential compliance risks early and help bring innovative products to market safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • * Plan, perform, and document compliance and certification testing for electronic systems, including EMC/EMI, RF, safety, and environmental evaluations.
  • * Interpret and apply regulatory standards (e.g., FCC Part 15, CISPR, IEC, UL, CE) to ensure designs meet all applicable requirements.
  • * Conduct and support pre-compliance testing during product development to identify and mitigate issues early.
  • * Coordinate and interface with external test labs to schedule and manage formal certification activities.
  • * Collaborate with design engineers to troubleshoot and resolve compliance issues, recommending layout, shielding, or grounding improvements as needed.
  • * Develop, update, and maintain test procedures, protocols, and technical reports.
  • * Build and maintain test setups, fixtures, and jigs; assist with debugging failed tests and root-cause analysis.
  • * Maintain and calibrate compliance test equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability.
  • Qualifications:

  • * Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or a closely related discipline.
  • * 3+ years of hands-on experience in compliance, validation, or certification testing for electronic systems or hardware products.
  • * Solid knowledge of EMC/EMI, RF, and electrical safety testing principles and relevant international standards (e.g., FCC, CE, UL, CISPR, IEC).
  • * Proficiency using test and measurement equipment, including spectrum analyzers, signal generators, LISNs, GTEM cells, and oscilloscopes.
  • * Working knowledge of PCB design and layout practices that influence EMI/EMC performance.
  • •* Demonstrated ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a cross-functional engineering environment.
