Alliant Personnel Resources / Body Fit Plus Hiring: Certified Dental Lab Technician for Correctional Facility in Vacaville, CA
Job Details: Certified Dental Lab Technician
- Location: Correctional Facility, Vacaville, California
- Pay Rate: $33.25 to $35.25 per hour
- Schedule: Full-time contract (6-9 months, eligible for extension)
- Mon - Fri 06:30am - 15:00pm
Job Requirements for Certified Dental Lab Technician
- Experience: Minimum of 12 months continuous experience within the last 2 years in a dental laboratory setting (public or private institution). Clinical competencies must be up-to-date.
- Certification: Valid CDT (Certified Dental Technician) license issued by the National Board for Certification in Dental Laboratory Technology.
- Licenses: Valid Photo ID, Driver's License, or Passport required.
- Basic Life Support (BLS): Must possess a current BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA).

Key Responsibilities for Certified Dental Lab Technician
- Implement tool control and safety procedures daily.
- Manage and track dental instruments, equipment, and tools in a secure manner.
- Construct, repair, and adjust dentures, occlusal stints, bite blocks, and more, per dentist instructions.
- Interpret dental prosthetic prescriptions accurately.
- Track, receive, and ship prosthetic cases within CDCR institutions.
- Maintain and inventory dental lab supplies efficiently.
- Ensure safe storage of hazardous materials in compliance with regulations.
- Stay updated on dental prosthetic methods, materials, and equipment.
- Communicate effectively with healthcare professionals and respond to calls/emails in a timely manner.
