Job Description
Department: Staunton Clinic
Work Hours: Monday - Friday daylight hours.
Basic Function: This position functions as part of a health care team by communicating patient needs/concerns to the provider and assists in the delivery of health care in an outpatient setting. Responsible for the completion of metabolic monitoring and entering results within the EHR.
Qualifications:
Required: Successful completion of a Medical Assistant Program with current MA certification upon hire and through employment. Basic Cardiac Life Support. Computer skills and literacy. Excellent communication skills. Competency in POCT (Point of Care Testing). Successful completion of applicable clearances as outlined in Human Resources policy HR-106 prior to commencing employment. Travel across clinic locations as needed to support workflows and overall clinic/client needs.
Preferred: Minimum of one-year medical assistance experience.
