Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Float Pool - Trauma

Cedar Park Med is looking to hire a CNA for immediate openings (Float Pool Trauma).

Shift/Schedule: Day & Night shifts available, 6, 12-hour shifts in two weeks. Every other weekend required.!!! TRAUMA EXPERIENCE IS REQUIRED !!!Willingness to Float: MUST BE WILLING TO FLOAT

Hiring for both local and traveler positions! Only candidates outside a 50-mile radius qualify for traveler roles. Rates vary based on experience and whether the position is local or traveler.

Qualifications:

• Current New York State certification as a CNA.
• Ability to be certified/re-certified in CPR.
• One year of patient care experience.
• LEVEL 1 TRAUMA EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
• Must successfully pass pre-employment health clearance.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Demonstrates excellent communication skills and ability to work well in teams.
• Provides both direct and indirect nursing care activities, including assisting with simple procedures, initiating CPR, and assisting with admitting, transfer, and discharge processes.
• Shows knowledge of normal growth and development and responds to changing patient needs.
• Works collaboratively with all members of the healthcare team.
• Participates in team spirit and unit morale concerns, and acts as a preceptor for new CNAs.
• Obtains, records, exchanges, and conveys patient information accurately.
