Location: 3100 Shore Drive Virginia Beach, VA

Reports to: The Hoy Center Team Leader

FLSA: Non-Exempt (Hourly)

Schedule: Full-Time Day (7am-7pm) and Full-Time Night (7pm-7am) Shifts Available. 3 days one week, 4 days the next, with an every other weekend rotation.

Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA's) in The Hoy Center (THC), play an essential role in providing high-quality, person-centered care to our residents. THC encompasses Westminster Canterbury's Long Term Care (LTC) and Rehab divisions. We're looking for CNA's who take pride in their work, value teamwork, and bring compassion to everything they do.

As a CNA, you'll work closely with the Team Leader to ensure each resident receives attentive, respectful, and individualized care.We focus on both the physical and emotional needs of each resident to help create a community that fosters connection and overall well-being.

The Experience You'll Bring

Required

• Current, unencumbered Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license in the State of VA.
• CPR certification (or must obtain within the first 60 days of employment).
• A strong desire to care for the elderly population.
• Flu-Vaccinated

Preferred

• One (1) year of practical field experience, preferred.
• COVID-19 Vaccinated. As of now, the 2025-2026 COVID-19 vaccine formulation is being distributed to providers and pharmacies; however, it has not yet received official approval from the CDC. In Virginia, pharmacists may administer COVID-19 vaccines under the Virginia Board of Pharmacy's statewide protocols or with a direct order from a licensed medical provider. We encourage all new hires to consult with their healthcare provider regarding the most current vaccination recommendations. Please be aware that, depending on future CDC guidance or regulatory updates, we may require proof of the most recent COVID-19 vaccination as part of our ongoing commitment to health and safety.
