As a key member of the rehab team, you'll collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care and deliver outstanding therapy services.

What You'll Do

  • Deliver direct patient care according to the therapist's plan of care, including treatment interventions, caregiver training, equipment use, and referrals.

  • Monitor patient progress, document outcomes, and contribute to discharge planning.

  • Support patients and families by providing education, motivation, and encouragement.

  • Collaborate with rehab team members and participate in team and case conferences.

  • Provide supervision and mentorship to aides, students, observers, and volunteers.

What We're Looking For

  • Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program with an Associate of Arts degree.

  • Licensure: Maryland Occupational Therapy Assistant license (or temporary license pending board exam/reciprocity).

  • Certification: Current BLS certification (not required for Behavioral Health).

  • Strong clinical skills, responsibility, and dedication to patient care.

  • Ability to motivate, encourage, and support patients throughout their rehabilitation journey.

Why Join Meritus Health?

  • Be part of a collaborative, patient-centered rehab team.

  • Work with a diverse patient population across the lifespan.

  • Opportunities for professional growth, mentorship, and continuing education.

  • Comprehensive benefits package (details available upon application).
