At Blue Origin, we envision millions of people living and working in space for the benefit of Earth. We're working to develop reusable, safe, and low-cost space vehicles and systems within a culture of safety, collaboration, and inclusion. Join our team of problem solvers as we add new chapters to the history of spaceflight!
This role supports the development and operations of New Glenn, a single-configuration, heavy-lift orbital launch vehicle capable of routinely carrying people and payloads to low-Earth orbit, geostationary transfer orbit, cislunar, and beyond. Its first stage is fully reusable, and the vehicle was designed from the beginning to be human-capable.
The team at New Glenn's Orbital Launch Site is driven by a commitment to safety and teamwork, alongside unparalleled execution and leadership. At LC-36, you will play a crucial role in historic missions and partner with a galaxy-class team that drives New Glenn to new heights! Blue Origin's Road to space lifts off here.
The best kept secret in space exploration is the impact of marine assets and the use of one of earth's most abundant resources, it's oceans. The maritime industry has been paramount in the exploration of space since its early development. Hardware and manned capsules have landed in the ocean with marine crews recovering hardware and astronauts since the early days of human spaceflight. As the commercial space industry expands and iterates on reusability to lower the cost of access to space, the importance of marine assets and the crews that operate those assets has never been more paramount.
As part of a dedicated team, committed to pushing the boundaries of launch and recovery, you will support operations dedicated to at-sea space hardware recovery. This position will directly impact the history of space exploration and will require your dedicated commitment and detailed attention towards safe and reliable space hardware recovery operations.
