Job Description

Job Overview:
Our client is seeking a data-driven and execution-focused Marketing Automation Specialist to build and manage multi-channel marketing workflows across our growing portfolio of startups. You’ll set up lead nurturing campaigns, optimize funnel performance, and maintain CRM and automation platforms to support early-stage GTM teams. This role requires strong technical marketing skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work across ventures with varying needs and audiences.

Work Setup: On-site from Monday to Thursday; remote on Fridays.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Marketing Automation & Workflows: Design and manage marketing automation sequences (email, SMS, in-app, etc.) using platforms like HubSpot, ActiveCampaign, or similar.
  • Campaign Execution: Set up, QA, and launch high-impact lead nurturing and lifecycle marketing campaigns.
  • Data Management: Maintain clean, segmented databases for accurate targeting and reporting. Ensure proper tracking of campaign attribution.
  • Reporting & Optimization: Build dashboards, run A/B tests, and provide performance insights that drive iteration and improvement.
  • Cross-Functional Support: Collaborate with sales, content, and product teams to align marketing ops with pipeline and engagement goals.
  • Multi-Venture Execution: Manage automation infrastructure across several startups, customizing workflows while maintaining operational standards.

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 3–5 years of hands-on experience in marketing operations or automation in a B2B or SaaS environment.
  • Proficiency with tools like HubSpot, Salesforce, ActiveCampaign, Zapier, Segment, or similar platforms.
  • Strong understanding of lifecycle marketing, email deliverability best practices, and customer segmentation.
  • Data-driven mindset with experience building reports and dashboards.
  • Excellent attention to detail, time management, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience supporting early-stage or startup environments where systems are built from scratch.
  • Familiarity with HTML/CSS for email editing and responsive formatting.
  • Knowledge of API integrations, custom events, or more advanced marketing tech implementations.
  • Exposure to AI-native companies or products is a plus.
