Job Description
A temple/day school in Sarasota is looking for an experienced facility cleaner to join their team!
- Pay Rate: $17.00 - $20.00/ Hour
- Schedule: 30-40 hours weekly,
- Monday-Saturday,10am-6pm & Sunday 8am-3pm
- Open availability required
- Occasional weekends and evenings required
Responsibilities:
- Maintaining cleanliness of offices, work areas and public areas by performing a variety of janitorial duties
- Sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming of floors
- Cleaning restrooms and shared facilities
- Vacuuming, dusting rooms and hallways
- Cleaning employee breakroom/kitchen areas
- Providing trash removal from offices, classrooms, and other general areas
- Occasional event set up: chairs, tables, etc.
- Project a positive image of the building and its facilities
- Carry out other custodial tasks as directed
Qualifications:
- Ability to walk, bend, stand throughout shift
- Comfortable cleaning up after children
- Must be able to successfully complete pre-employment background screenings and drug screening
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
