Job Description

We are a dynamic and growing healthcare organization, deeply committed to delivering outstanding care across skilled nursing facilities, with additional experience in assisted living and homecare. Our mission is to create environments where residents thrive through personalized care, robust clinical programs, and a culture of safety, dignity, and engagement. Beyond resident outcomes, we are building a financially disciplined, operationally efficient organization that can scale strategically across multiple care settings, balancing growth with high-quality standards. Leadership, innovation, and collaboration are at the heart of our approach, making this an exciting opportunity for a finance leader to influence the trajectory of a multi-facility organization.

We are seeking a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) who is both a strategic thinker and a hands-on leader. This role is designed for someone who thrives on impact—overseeing high-level financial strategy while actively engaging in operational execution. You will partner closely with leadership and facility teams to drive financial performance, ensure compliance, and implement systems that improve efficiency and scalability. The ideal candidate is a current CFO or senior financial leader, ideally with experience in skilled nursing facilities, who is ready to step into a pivotal role shaping growth, operations, and long-term financial success across the organization

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and own the organization's financial strategy, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
  • Partner with operational teams to analyze performance, identify opportunities, and implement solutions at the facility level.
  • Guide and develop finance and accounting teams, ensuring high standards of accuracy, compliance, and efficiency.
  • Provide actionable financial insights that directly support leadership in decision-making, expansion, and operational initiatives.
  • Manage relationships with auditors, lenders, and other financial partners to maintain strong financial credibility.
  • Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and reporting requirements while maintaining operational flexibility.
  • Balance strategic oversight with hands-on execution, stepping in where needed to ensure smooth financial operations.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a CFO or senior financial leader in skilled nursing facilities.
  • Knowledge of assisted living and homecare operations is highly valued.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and develop teams while remaining operationally engaged.
  • Strong skills in budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and regulatory compliance.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and strategic thinking capabilities.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA preferred but not required.

Compensation

  • Competitive salary: $200,000 – $400,000, depending on experience and expertise.
  • Flexible start date in May or June, with immediate opportunity to influence growth and operational success.
