Job Description

As a CIS Maintenance Specialist, your day will be filled with opportunities to perform data entry to maintenance all deposit accounts including Time Deposit, IRA and Health Savings Accounts. Provide support including the implementation and servicing of the accounts under CIS Dept.

Responsibilities

Daily responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Upon receipt and verification of proper paperwork and requested maintenance, complete data entry to maintain all Bank Deposit Accounts.
  • Crate new Ports, close accounts, combine customer Ports, maintain all demographics and codes, input weekly and monthly rate changes on all products serviced by CIS Dept, and perform all other general maintenance as need
  • Handle CIS-related questions from CSR's and other Bank departments
  • Ensure service delivery and compliance with bank regulations.
  • Troubleshoot and perform research to assist branch staff in identifying and resoling operational issues.
  • Minor research to accommodate customer requests
  • Assist in the performance of special projects
  • Assist with annual procedural updates
  • Assist with CD, IRA & HSA tasks
  • Other duties as assigned

Job Requirements

The successful candidate will have the following qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED Equivalent

  • 6 months of Retail Banking experience or one year Banking Operations experience

  • Self-motivated, dependable, professional appearance and demeanor

  • Strong telephone communication skills

  • Word processing skills for creating and updating procedures

  • Basic PC skills

The employee will constantly position themselves to sit or stand, and occasionally move around the office to access filing cabinets or office machinery. The employee will constantly operate a computer, using repetitive movements of hands and fingers, and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machinery, and computer printer. The employee will frequently identify, observe and assess materials and information, visually or otherwise. The employee will frequently be required to lift or carry up to 10 pounds, and occasionally be required to lift or carry 11 - 50 pounds, with assistance if needed. All work occurs indoors and within regular working hours. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.

Employees must also have the ability and means to travel as necessary for the purpose of attending training, meetings, and other various business functions.
