Civil Designer – Land Development (Entry-Level)

Our client is looking for a recent graduate in Civil Engineering to join their land development team in Las Vegas. This role provides hands-on experience working on residential, commercial, industrial, and community development projects. You will collaborate with experienced engineers and project managers while contributing to the successful design and execution of land projects.

Responsibilities

• Assist with civil design tasks such as grading, drainage, and site layout under senior staff guidance.
• Prepare technical drawings, calculations, and project documentation.
• Conduct site assessments and collect data to support design decisions.
• Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and team members to meet project standards.
• Support the preparation of reports, presentations, and permit applications.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• Engineer in Training (EIT) / Engineering Intern (EI) certification required.
• Familiarity with design software (AutoCAD, Civil 3D preferred).
• Strong understanding of engineering principles.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Excellent communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
• Proactive, eager to learn, and detail-oriented.
• Must be a U.S. citizen, green card holder, or legally authorized to work in the U.S.

• Pay: varies based on experience
