Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Civil Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and managing various civil engineering projects. This role requires a strong understanding of engineering principles, project management, and technical writing skills. The Civil Engineer will collaborate with other professionals to ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality.

Duties

  • Design and develop civil engineering plans and specifications for various projects including infrastructure, transportation, and water resources.
  • Conduct site assessments and feasibility studies to determine project viability.
  • Prepare detailed schematics and technical documents for construction management.
  • Oversee construction activities to ensure compliance with design specifications and safety standards.
  • Perform construction inspections to monitor progress and quality of work.
  • Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other engineers to facilitate effective project execution.
  • Utilize software tools such as Revit and MicroStation for design and modeling tasks.
  • Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources effectively while maintaining communication with stakeholders.

Requirements

Experience

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field is required.
  • Proficiency in Revit, MicroStation, and other relevant engineering software is highly desirable.
  • Experience in construction management, project management, or construction inspection is preferred.
  • Knowledge of hydraulics and pipeline design principles is a plus.
  • Strong technical writing skills to produce clear reports and documentation.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while also being self-motivated.
